Volunteer Abroad in Asia with WLS International
WLS International is a British volunteer organization offering over 80 worthwhile volunteering projects and gap year programs in 9 countries in Asia. We are committed to promoting cross-cultural awareness and helping communities in developing countries in Asia. Projects include working in orphanages, teaching English at schools, teaching monks at Buddhist monasteries, community projects, working with elephants and much more. For the past 10 years we have placed thousands of international volunteers in projects in Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
We believe that by having volunteers live and work side-by-side with local people and communities in Asia, we can increase global understanding whilst also giving much needed help and support to communities and children in need. Everyone who participates in one of our programs, whether a student, a professional or a family, comes away with a greater understanding of the global community, the cultural diversity of Asia and the challenges that developing countries face. We are very proud of the positive feedback we get from our volunteers. We believe this reflects the high quality of our programs in Asia. We focus on Asia where we are one of the leading not-for-profit voluntary organizations.
